

That's a bit sad if that's what it comes down to. Someone else said they "just live with it". But I was hoping for a way to go back into the project and select a new representation frame.

I did delete the optimized media when I was done with the project because it takes up an incredible amount of hard drive space. Every thing is on my D: drive which doesn't move when I plug in an external drive. Someone mentioned that this may be an issue with using "optimized" footage, which I am, because I'm editing 4K. So my media is usually on my G drive, but if I insert an sd card reader (or remove one) the drive letter may change, and it will then five me the media offline notification. Sometimes this happens when you have removable drives and after removing or inserting them, the drive letter changes. I've done some searching for info on this but haven't seen anything that quite fits my situation. I don't think that I did anything to cause this, it just appeared.

However, when Resolve comes up now it shows two of my videos as "Media Offline". I'm new to Resolve, so far I've only done a few short videos but I'm impressed with it.
